The International Conference on Degrowth in the Americas urges our attendees to promote lodging, dining and activities that have minimal impacts on the environment.
Hosting
![]() |
Our Degrowth Conference Committee members and friends of degrowth are opening up their homes and want you to be their guest at no cost. On couchsurfing.org we have created a group entitled Degrowth in the Americas to facilitate your search for a host or guest. This is an amazing opportunity to meet members of the degrowth community, and to simultaneously minimize the conference's impact on the planet! Please refer to CouchSurfing's Terms of Use if you plan on using their service. |
Not sure how it works? Here's how to join couchsurfing.org: Create your free CouchSurfing profile: You can also register with Facebook. Once you have created your CS account, you can login. When you have the homepage in front of you, look over on the left hand side, under your profile, there you will find "Can you host right now?" From there you select the arrow and choose your status. You can also "search for surfers or hosts" directly from the main page. Lastly, you can access more groups, such as the "last minute emergency" group, and the Degrowth in the Americas group. |
University Residences
The Conference Committee also promotes university residences for which we have special rates for our attendees.
